To come up with these figures, TransUnion used the following methodology:
The Good/Bad Definition is firstly applied on account level.

The performance of the account is measured in the first 2 months on book:

Bad Account

Good Account

Not Matured Account

If an account is at least one day in arrears in the 2 months performance window

If an account is fully settled in the 2 month performance window

If an account is current in the 1 month performance window and fully settled in
the second month of the performance window

If the status in the first month is “CLOSED”

If the delinquency status of an account in the first month is missing

Once the account good/bad indicators has been applied the accounts are rolled up in the following manner to determine the good/bad definition of the consumer:

If a consumer has the Overall Bads of more than 50% (That is a consumer has more accounts defined as “Bad” than “Good” or “Not Matured”

If a consumer has the Overall Goods of more than 50% ( That is a consumer has more accounts defined as “Good” than “Bad” or Not Matured”

If a consumer has even number of accounts and the number of accounts that are defined as “Good” are equal to the number of accounts that are defined as “Bad”
If all the accounts of the consumer were defined as “Not Matured”

If a consumer has odd number of accounts( 3 for example) one account being
“Bad”, one account being “Not Matured” and the other account being “Good”

Full name of the person whose TU mobile loan scorecard is requested

national_id

National (Kenya) ID of the person whose TU mobile loan scorecard is requested

passport_number

Passport number of the person whose TU mobile loan scorecard is requested

phone_numbers

Array of phone numbers associated with the person whose TU mobile loan scorecard is requested

grade

The score-band the person falls under. Refer to the summary section above for the possible grade values

mobile_loan_score

The mobile loan score of the person. Refer to the summary section above for details about how binned scores are mapped to grade values

probability

The likelihood that the loan will not be repaid on time, expressed as a percentage
